Hi, I’m Jamie, also known as James.

I live in and work around the beautiful Golden Gate.

My passion is capturing raw and honest portraits of motherhood on film. I feel blessed to work with and connect with so many inspiring women. I long to tell their stories and feel their heartache and joy.

I long for my own faded childhood memories and seek to preserve them for the children I work with. To help them remember. To help us all remember.

My intention is to tell your story honestly, and to bear witness and document all of the love, wonder, wildness, beauty and imperfection of motherhood and family life.

Yes, I also photograph the papas and specialize in family photography, but mamas are my inspiration.

I do travel a several times a year for destination shoots, so reach out if you would like more info.

I also shoot for local women owned brands. I work with my clients to create beautiful images to support expansion and growth. I strongly believe in women helping and supporting each other rise.  We got this ladies.

I am raising two wild little boys (wolf cubs) who are my best teachers. They make me a better human every day. My love for them is more powerful than anything i have ever known. They also make me very tired.

I am obsessed with growing and cooking food! I also make my own pickles and sauerkraut. Both are really good.
